Following a citywide loss of water pressure on Thursday, October 8, the City of Boardman issued a precautionary boil water advisory effective at 5:30 p.m.
Residents should continue to boil water for one full minute before using it for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or food preparation.
This advisory is part of the Oregon Health Authority's required safety and regulatory procedures and does not necessarily mean the water is contaminated.
The advisory may be lifted as early as Saturday, October 10, at noon, provided water testing confirms it is safe. Residents should continue boiling water until the city officially announces the advisory has been lifted. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to ensure safe drinking water for our community.
