The City is accepting letters of interest from qualified individuals interested in being appointed to fill a vacant City Council position.
The individual appointed to this vacancy will serve through December 31, 2026. To serve on the City Council after December 31, 2026, the appointee must file as a candidate for election to the position.
Individuals interested in appointment should submit a letter of interest no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 25, 2026.
Those wishing to be considered for election to the position beyond the appointed term must also submit the required candidate filing forms by 5:00 p.m. on August 25, 2026.
