City of Boardman Celebrates Student Winners in Vehicle Naming and Design Contest
The City of Boardman is proud to celebrate the creativity of local students through its recent vehicle naming and design contest.
After receiving thoughtful and fun entries from students, the City selected “Big Boy” as the winning name for its vac truck. The name was submitted by Landon, a 5th grade student, and Abby, a 3rd grade student. The City’s street sweeper will be named “Lil Sweep,” submitted by Eli, a 4th grade student.
The winning design was created by Riverside students Indira and Brenda, whose artwork stood out for its creativity and spirit.
The City of Boardman is grateful to all of the students who participated and shared their ideas. This contest was a wonderful way to highlight the imagination of Boardman’s young people and bring the community together in a fun and meaningful way.
The City thanks the students, families, and school partners who helped make the contest such a success and looks forward to seeing these winning names and designs out in the community. Special thanks to Harvest Town Foods for their donation of the winning prizes and continued support of our community!
