The City of Boardman's Free Recycling Center has been relocated to a new site due to ongoing concerns about the maintenance of its current location. The decision to move comes after residents expressing concerns over the state of the current facility, citing issues such as improperly disposed waste. The City has listened to these concerns and decided that relocating the center would be the most effective way to maintain the level of service the community deserves.
The new location has been selected with accessibility in mind, more space for drop-offs, and a more controlled environment that will make it easier to keep the grounds clean. Additionally, the new site will have improved infrastructure and will be regularly maintained to prevent the issues that have plagued the previous center.
