What Residents and Drivers Should Know

No Parking: “No Parking” signs will be placed along affected streets approximately 24–48 hours before work begins. Please remove vehicles from the roadway so crews can complete the work safely and efficiently. Street parking may resume once the signs have been removed.

Slow Down in Work Zones: Please drive slowly and use caution around crews and equipment. Reduced speeds help protect workers and can also help prevent vehicle damage from loose rock and gravel.

Loose Gravel Is Normal: Some loose gravel may remain on the roadway for several days following chip sealing. This is a normal part of the process, and regular vehicle traffic helps compact the rock into the roadway surface.

Driveway Access: Access to driveways may be temporarily restricted as crews and equipment move through an area. These interruptions should be brief. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.

The City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation while this roadway maintenance work is completed.
