The Boardman Fire Rescue District will be flushing fire hydrants throughout Boardman. They plan to begin along Paul Smith Road, near Driftwood RV Park and Bella Vista Estates on Tuesday, June 20th between the hours of 9 am - 5 pm.
Please be advised, that during this time you may experience low water pressure. Also, flushing may cause some discoloration of water. This does not represent a health hazard, however, customers are cautioned to determine if the water is clear before washing clothes (or any other processing) as staining may occur. If you experience discolored water, run the cold water in all of your faucets for approximately 5-10 minutes.
The City of Boardman regrets any temporary inconvenience you may experience. The flushing program is necessary to maintain a good water supply for both domestic consumption and firefighting. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
