DESCRIPTION:Description \n\nThe Boardman City Council will meet in a specia
 l session on Monday\,\nJuly 23\, 2018.  The meeting will begin at 7:10 p.
 m. and will be held\nat the Boardman City Hall Council Chambers located at
  200 City Center\nCircle.  \n\nThe purpose of this special meeting is to 
 discuss a resolution for\napplication to a State of Oregon Small Cities Gr
 ant\, and to discuss a\nUnion Pacific Railroad permit for completion of th
 e city’s water\nproject. \n\nAn Executive Session will be held during t
 his meeting regarding ORS\n192.660 (2) (a) to consider the employment of a
  staff member.\n\nThis meeting is open to the public.  \n\nTime is set as
 ide for persons wishing to address the Council on\nmatters not on the agen
 da.  Speakers will be limited to three\nminutes\, unless extended by the 
 Mayor.  If written material is\nincluded\, 15 copies of all information t
 o be distributed to the\nCouncil should be given to the Recorder or Manage
 r prior to the\nmeeting.  Action will not be taken at this meeting on cit
 izen\ncomments.  The Council\, however\, after hearing from interested\nc
 itizens\, may place items under new business on a future agenda so\nproper
  notice may be given to all interested parties.  If no one\nwishes to com
 ment\, the next agenda item will be considered.\n\nThe meeting location is
  accessible to persons with disabilities. \nIndividuals needing special a
 ccommodations such as sign language\,\nforeign language interpreters\, or 
 equipment for the hearing impaired\nmust request such services at least 48
