The
Boardman Police Department is responsible for all law enforcement
activities within the City of Boardman. Our department consists of
Chief of Police, a Lieutenant, one Detective Sergeant, five Officers,
one non-sworn, and two reserve officers. We are a 24-hour, seven day a
week, full service department. The patrol staff is responsible for
Criminal Investigations, Traffic Enforcement and Security Patrols.
The entire staff has responsibility for Public Relations
assignments to include Home Security Evaluations, Public Talks,
Vacation Home Checks, Child Fingerprint Program, Child Safe Gun
Lock Program, Neighborhood Watch and participates with the
Sheriff's Department on Bicycle Safety and a free bicycle helmet
giveaway program. Administrative duties are handled by the Chief
of Police and the Lieutenant.
